Atrapados

(Trapped)

This game was developed as part of an initiative from the Literature program of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia). The game was part of a bigger project focused in the trans mediation of a short novel and a research in collective intelligence.

I participated in the design of the game and several tests that were performed around it. I also led the final development team of the game.

It’s an adventure game with an isometric perspective which main mechanic consist in solving puzzles with the right combination of items and team members.

The most interesting aspect of this game is its multiplayer mechanic. The game has three different configurations, meant to be played at the same time by three different players. They must be playing at the same time because each one needs information that the other two get in their respective games. The reason of this was guided by the research in collective intelligence that the project had in mind.
